She Will Run

Updated: Feb 19

Part 1:

His hair falls in waves.

Every night, she cries, she caves.

Waking in a stranger's bed.

With bumps and bruises on her head.

She decides she's had enough.

She doesn't wanna call his bluff.

Running, driving fifty in a forty.

She cranks it up to sixty.

He was always the bad guy.

She thought, just me, myself, and I.

Tears streaming down her face.

Life or death, now it's a race.

Staying out all night.

Tomorrow she'll put up a fight.
